A 30,000-ton silo investment contract worth 410 billion rials was signed with the private sector, said the Deputy of Port and Economic Affairs of Gilan General Administration of Ports and Maritime Affairs.
PMO News Portal - Referring to the conclusion of the
contract for the construction of a 30,000-ton silo, Mohammad Mohsen Salimipour stated
that this 410-billion rials worth of investment contract was signed in order to
create infrastructure for grain storage in Anzali port which is vital at his point
for the port.
Construction of the silos is set to begin this week with the
use of the best equipment and technology, with enough capacity to
simultaneously unload two ships and load two trucks per week. With completion of
this project, the capacity for existing and running silos will increase by
about 200,000 tons.
Salimipour concluded: In order to increase the depot
capacity and storage of cereals and goods and in order to effectively take
advantage of the facilities and infrastructure of Gilan ports and in addition
to implementing and completing existing investment projects, attracting new
investors in the field of silo construction projects, marine tourism,
shipbuilding, mechanized grain warehouses are on the agenda.
